REBECCA GARDINER is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner and a certified Anat Baniel Method Practitioner with advanced certifications in the Anat Baniel Methods for Children, for Anti-Aging and for High Performers. She is devoted to creating powerful outcomes for each of her students—from premature infants to aspiring artists, business executives to cancer patients, and those suffering from the stresses of daily life. She came to this work seeking recovery from a serious shoulder injury and brings her background as a professional ballet dancer, past president of the Iyengar Yoga Association and business owner to her understanding of the method and how to best apply it to each of her students.
Rebecca is on the faculty of the Feldenkrais Learning Center, has taught this method to individuals as well as organizations, and produced professional training programs and seminars. She founded ACCESS: Functional Movement for Children with Special Needs, a nonprofit organization devoted to making this method available to children in need. She maintains a private practice in Manhattan.
